Almost done!
This is about Step 4.
Oh, and I moved my sewing station to the basement, so much better because now I have a sewing station, cutting station, and an ironing station. Eventually I would like to have a table devoted entirely to cutting and a table just for my machine...soon.
I finally received all the fabric I was waiting for in the mail and was able to start my first quilt this week. Here are some photos of the fabric during assembly. All I have left to do is to attach the long rows and my quilt top is finished! Then comes the quilt "sandwich", we'll see how tricky that is, though it sounds tasty! The fabric is from the "Summer Song" collection by Riley Blake, I ordered it from MCA Designs off Etsy as 20 fat quarters and love it. The pattern for the quilt was also purchased from Etsy. I can't wait until my Amy Butler quilting kit arrives, I think I am hooked!
